Abstract
The project aims developing a software platform for sophisticated and highly reliable vehicle application systems which integrate control and information services. The systems are implemented on real-time OS and commodity OS in a multi-core CPU. The research issues are as follows:
- Resource allocation in a multi-core CPU
- Dependable mechanism for the commodity OS
- Intra-OS communication mechanism for enabling cooperation between multimedia and real-time systems.
This is collaborative research with Toyota Corporation. Yukikazu will talk about their way to solve the issues.
